St Michael le Belfrey
At St Mikes we are committed to equipping students to live as disciples of Jesus in their university life. It is our passion that students deepen in their walk with God, grow in their gifts and talents, develop in their appreciation and understanding of the scriptures, be active intergrated church members and be witnesses for Jesus to their friends.
There are four services that take place at St Michael le Belfrey on a Sunday , a 9:00am more traditional service, an 11:00am Family Service, a 5:00pm service known as Grace and a 7:00pm evening service known as "The Seven" – which most students at St Mikes make their regular sunday service. In addition to the evening service many students also come to Equip which runs most Monday nights during term time, where their is oppotunity for you to practice your gifts, worship, pray, learn from the Bible, fellowship and eat with other students and join a student lead small group. Through this we also want to encourage student lead mission and evangelism, so if you have an idea talk to your small group or grab any of the student team and we will support you.
St Mikes is a lively active church seeking God for the transformation of the North and it is our desire that students through God's empowering play a significant part in this. So if you want to find out more just drop us an email – we'd love to chat!
