What are they?
- A welcoming place which group members feel able to, and really want to bring friends to.
- An exciting place where we learn what the Bible says, be challenged by it, and share it with new Christians, seekers and more mature Christians.
- A safe place where we learn how to talk about Jesus naturally, passionately and clearly.
What we do in small groups?
- We take a look at a short passage from the Bible and discuss what it says, how we respond to it and how it affects our life today.
- We spend time in prayer for each other
- We encourage one another to follow Jesus more closely through the good times and the bad.
How are they run?
- Small groups meet weekly, on weekdays. See the college website for details of your small group time.
- The Small Group Leader prepares some questions to promote discussion of the passage beforehand and opens and closes the meeting.
- Members are sometimes encouraged to be help out in small ways, like hosting the meeting, bringing drinks or a snack/dessert, or by leading in prayer.
