Halifax

Halifax has a large, friendly and active CU, meeting weekly for Bible study and frequently for extra things like socials, outreach events, prayer and praise evenings and even our very own weekend(s) away! You're very welcome to join us at any time, whatever your beliefs and background. We aim to support you in your university life and, if you're interested, to help you explore the relevance of Christianity today.

Our activities tend to change from week to week, but we generally meet at 7pm outside the porters' lodge on Wednesdays and leave together from there for whatever we're doing - see the facebook group for more details. Afterwards we usually go to the Deremore (in Heslington) some time after 9 so feel free to meet us there if you'd rather not come at 7.

Starting University this year? We are running a series of events during Freshers week and the start of term. Come along meet some freindly faces and more than likely enjoy some free food! Check out the facebook group or look out for us when you arrive.
