In week 4 of the autumn term Andrew Sach, an acclaimed author and speaker, will be coming to speak on How to read the Bible. We have ordered a number of Andrew Sach books at a 35% discount from IVP, these are now available at 4.50 for Dig Deeper and 12.70 for Pierced for our Transgressions. Please note these are imperfect copies. If you would like to place an order for Dig Deeper or Pierced for our Transgressions please email the CU Resources Rep (dr533) who cannot recommend them enough, esp. Dig Deeper, which is short, easy to read and will seriously improve the way you understand the bible. For more information see the review at Evangelicals Now.

Back cover of Dig Deeper

This is a toolbox. Sorry if that conjures up painful memories of failed DIY projects, hours spent waiting for the emergency services on the hard shoulder of the motorway, or rusty, forgotten implements decked with cobwebs at the back of your garden shed.

But there are no spanners or trowels here. Rather these tools are a means of getting to the bottom of any Bible passage and discovering its true meaning.

The passionate aim of this book is that it should help you to 'correctly handle the word of truth' (2 Timothy 2:15) so that you will experience God's clear guidance in your life, come to know him better and grow to love him more. Our prayer is that your Bible reading will never be the same again.
