As an on-campus mission arm of the local church, our vision is to give every student the opportunity to hear and respond to the good news of Jesus.

Proclaim the Gospel to our fellow students and live lives consistent with the Gospel.

Encourage students to be committed to a local church.

Build up students through teaching, prayer, Bible study and worship.

Encourage interest and active involvement in missionary work at home and abroad.
During term time, we meet together weekly as a CU, and again in smaller college groups. We regularly host evangelistic events, and we also organise a few annual events such as our weekend away together, the Christmas Carol Service, Events Week, and Freshers' Week.
The Christian Union in York is affiliated with Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship (UCCF) who support us in our mission by providing resources, guidance, and dedicated staff.
UNCOVER
Uncover is a resource from UCCF that the CU loves to use. It contains a series of eight Bible studies looking at the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as told in Mark's gospel. It's an ideal resource for anyone interested in exploring the big questions of life.
